Design cutting-edge custom PCBs from concept to reality using Altium or KiCad. From schematics, layout routing to hand-solder prototypes, debugging, and rigorously testing them to survive launch vibrations, extreme temperatures, and high-G forces. Collaborate daily with software engineers to bring the hardware to life, ensuring flawless communication and reliable operation during flight. Electronics is also responsible for the RF systems: design, simulate (using tools like HFSS or CST), build, and test antennas for telemetry, video downlink, and ground comms. If you love turning lines of code and copper traces into a rocket that talks back to Earth, this is your team.

Create detailed CAD models, run advanced finite element method (FEM) simulations to analyze stresses, vibrations, and thermal loads, optimize designs for minimum mass and maximum strength, then manufacture components. Machining, composites layup, 3D (metal) printing, and welding. You'll also tackle fun side projects like the CanSat launcher or recovery mechanisms. Every part you design must survive launch, and recovery. Your work literally holds the rocket together at high speeds

Write the mission-critical code that lives inside the rocket's custom avionics. This is hardcore embedded programming. Real-time systems, bare-metal C/C++, drivers for sensors, actuators, and comms modules, fault-tolerant logic, and flight algorithms that must execute perfectly under tight timing constraints and limited resources. Leveraging NASA’s F’ (F Prime) framework, your software decides when events happen: parachute deployment, data logging, and emergency behaviors. You’ll also build the live video downlink: ultra-efficient onboard video encoding and streaming over software-defined radio (SDR) so the team can watch stunning rocket POV in near real-time, even through tough conditions. Work hand-in-hand with avionics hardware engineers to integrate, debug on actual flight computers, and verify performance during tests and launches. Master the art of keeping a rocket stable and on target while hurtling upward at thousands of km/h. Run full 6-DOF flight simulations to model aerodynamics, mass properties, wind effects, and disturbances. Design advanced control systems: thrust vector control (TVC) for pitch/yaw steering, roll control mechanisms, guidance algorithms, and stability augmentation. Implement, tune, and test controllers in hardware-in-the-loop setups before flight. Build the foundation for the control algorithms for a controlled descent manoeuvre like the Falcon 9. Your work turns a potentially wild rocket into a precise, guided vehicle that hits altitude goals and recovers safely. Build and unleash the fire that powers the rocket to the sky! Design hybrid or solid rocket engines in CAD, perform thermodynamic simulations and burn rate analysis, manufacture precision parts (nozzles, combustion chambers, injectors), then take them to the test stand for static fire tests—measuring thrust curves, pressures, efficiencies, and watching flames roar. Iterate fast based on real data to push performance higher. Few experiences match the adrenaline of a successful hot-fire and knowing your engine will send the rocket skyward. If controlled explosions excite you, propulsion is your calling.

To bring our future to life before it even hits the launchpad, our Blender & 3D Visualization Expert creates stunning animations that turn complex technical dreams into photorealistic visuals. Meanwhile, the Events Organizer handles the high-pressure logistics of Rocket Reveals and Launch Days.

Protect the team and the mission. As the Safety Officer, you hold the ultimate "Go/No-Go" authority. You design and enforce the rigorous protocols that prevent catastrophe during high-pressure static fires and launches. From managing hazardous propellants to acting as the primary medical lead (BHV), you ensure that our most valuable assets, our people return home safely every night.
