Inside Enos

ENOS is RISE's fully in-house, single-stage rocket. This means that all components, from the solid rocket motor and its propellant to the flight computer and its PCBs, are designed and manufactured within RISE. It measures around 3 metres in length, with a body diameter of 150 mm, and its wet mass is projected to be around 27 kg. Other novel features include roll correction fins, fast-deploying airbrakes, and an in-flight video telemetry system whose antennas use the rocket itself as a ground plane to transmit signals. ENOS also incorporates an exotic CanSat deployment mechanism with the capacity to launch 3 CanSats.
